My research interest is still not fully concrete (the case
with all undergraduates applying for graduate school).
But generally, I am interested
in:
Intelligent systems and objects that you can't distinguish from clothing or normal accessories.
- Textile, strechable, morphing electronic interfaces.
- How can we embed input and haptic devices into clothing or everyday objects?
- How can these devices be used for non-perceptible
and seamless interactions?
- Especially with computers and technologies like XR.
Non-traditional Computer or AI Input and Output.
- Gesture based, EMG, BCI controls that don't need traditional button inputs.
- Non-traditional (eg. not text or audio) AI output like, Temperature, Olfactory, Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS).
- How do we design novel hardware augmentative input + output interaction systems with AI that maintain human agency and safety?
Novel Human Augmentation
- Can we treat the human body as an API using external hardware (sensors, haptics)?
- How many haptic and sensory devices can I reasonably attach to a XR system to make it more realistic?
- How do you trick human perception in interactive computing?
- Can you make the human nervous system an output for AI?

Smart Computer Interfaces for Future Interactions (SciFi) Lab Cornell University
- Helping design charging case for sensorimotor stickies.
- Embroidered textile electrodes for sensing and electrical muscle stimulation, currently paused due to summer REU.
Internet of Matter Lab University of Notre Dame
- Currently (Summer 2026) working on a toolkit for electronic stretchable yarn.
- Designing and fabricating various yarn primitives, e.g. microcontrollers, sensors, haptic devices, that can be connected to form an electronic yarn used to fabricate wearables.
- Using a stretchable conductive silver ink printer and TPU based off of the Circuit2Yarn paper.
Human Augmentation in Physical and Perceptual Interactions (HAPPI Lab) Cornell University
- Worked on sensor electrode fabrication for an upcoming ICRA submission in Fall 2026 on characterizing electrode curvature. Will finish up in Fall 2026 semester.
